A Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Project
Welcome!

This website was created to communicate the research I will be carrying on during my Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowship at the University of Reading. My research project is titled Virginia Woolf and Italian Readers and it examines the reception of Virginia Woolf in Italy, exploring translations, reviews and publications of her work, as well as articles and books, to truly understand the processes that led Virginia Woolf to become a cultural icon in Italy.

One of the outputs of my research will be the creation of a digital database containing all the Italian publications on Woolf, as well as all the translations of her works that have appeared from 1927 to today, in the hope that it will serve as a research tool for scholars, students and passionate readers alike.

Please have a look around the site and contact me to share ideas or have more information.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 838658.
