(If you don&#8217;t see this field on your website, please <a href=\"mailto:it@reading.ac.uk\">contact us<\/a> so we activate it for you)<br \/>\nYou can make a search on centaur, change the result page URL by replacing the .html by .include and use this URL within this field. expl: http:\/\/centaur.reading.ac.uk\/view\/divisions\/5=5Fb4065e5e.include<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Use the dedicated plugin<\/h4>\n<p>Activate the plugin &#8220;Centaur Feed&#8221; to load JSON exports from CentAUR. Go to CentAUR, search and filter the publications you want to display, then put the JSON export in a shortcode. You can also list the IDs of the publications you want to display.<\/p>\n<p>Now add a shortcode to your page (you can click on the small centaur icon in the editor, or copy and paste the following structure:<\/p>\n<p>[centaur url=\"\" exclude=\"\" dateorder=\"DESC\" ids=\"\"]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>url: JSON export URL (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Important: it must be an https URL. Add the &#8220;s&#8221; to the centaur URL if necessary<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>exclude: IDs of the publications you don&#8217;t want to display in the list. Separated by a comma.<\/li>\n<li>dateorder: DESC or ASC. Note that if left empty, the years won&#8217;t be displayed as section titles.<\/li>\n<li>ids: IDs of the publications you want to display, separated by a comma. This plugin will allow you to call the widget in a page, using a <a href=\"https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Shortcode\">shortcode<\/a> (see shortcode section below). The procedure is the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activate the amr shortcode any widget plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Go to Appearance \/ Widgets.<\/li>\n<li>Drag and drop the RSS widget to the field \u201cWidgets for Shortcodes\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Get the associated shortcode at the bottom of your new added item: expl. \u201cTo use as shortcode with id: <br \/>Widget not in any sidebars<br \/> \u201c.<\/li>\n<li>Now go to a page and paste this shortcode in the text of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Use the plugin RSS Feed News Blocks Free<\/h3>\n<p>A more advanced plugin is available if you need more options to include the RSS feed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fetch as many RSS feeds as you want.<\/li>\n<li>Display the RSS feed wherever you want using shortcode, including text widgets.<\/li>\n<li>Control whether to display the entire RSS feeds content or just an excerpt.<\/li>\n<li>Control how many words display in the excerpt.<\/li>\n<li>\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Simply activate the plugin &#8220;RSS Feed News Blocks Free&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">How to create an RSS feed shortcode?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add to your article a shortcode in the form:<\/p>\n<p>[newsblocks url=&#8221;&lt;feedURL1,feedURL2&#8230;&gt;&#8221; items=&#8221;10&#8243; excerpt=&#8221;50&#8243; new_window=&#8221;true&#8221; cache=&#8221;10800&#8243; source=&#8221;true&#8221; columns=&#8221;3&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Options for your shortcode:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>url \u2013 The url of the feed you wish to fetch from. For multiple urls simply use a comma between them.<\/li>\n<li>items \u2013 Number of items from the feed you wish to fetch (Default is 10).<\/li>\n<li>orderby \u2013 Order the items by date or reverse date (date or date_reverse).<\/li>\n<li>title \u2013 Whether to display the title or not (true or false, defaults is true).<\/li>\n<li>excerpt \u2013 How many words you want to display for each item (Default is 0 or infinite, use \u2018none\u2019 to remove the excerpt).<\/li>\n<li>read_more \u2013 Whether to display a read more link or not (true or false, default is true).<\/li>\n<li>new_window \u2013 Whether to open the title link and read more link in a new window (true or false, default is true).<\/li>\n<li>source \u2013 Whether to display the source or not (true or false, default is true).<\/li>\n<li>date \u2013 Whether to display the publish date or not (true or false, default is true).<\/li>\n<li>cache \u2013 How long you want the feed to cache the results in seconds (Default is 43200, (12 hours)).
