Digital Research Computing Manager<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Kelsey Partridge is the Digital Research Computing Team Lead.\u00a0 She has a background in consulting management, in her current role she deals with process and change management and support the team in navigating researchers and improving IT process to support them.\u00a0 She is also part of the steering committee for the Research Strategy and recently joined as a member of the Open Research Action Plan (ORAP).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Cluster and Research Computing Lead<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Pawel Stasiak is the Clusters and Research Computing Lead. He has a background in physics, with research experience in applying statistical physics methods to complex systems, ranging from magnetic materials to soft condensed matter. His current role focuses on HPC and research computing, both on the engineering side \u2013 including system management, deployment and automation -\u00a0and on the user-facing side,\u00a0supporting researchers in making the most of HPC systems and scientific software, and helping them adapt to the rapidly evolving research computing landscape.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\nMaria Broadbridge<\/p>\n

Research Software Engineer<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Maria Broadbridge is a Research Software Engineer with a background in Oceanography, Ocean Modelling and Meteorology. Her past research experience is in developing and running various numerical models of the ocean and atmosphere. Her main focus is on supporting researchers and students in overcoming research computing challenges by providing training, fostering computational skills, and promoting best practices in research software development. Maria is a member of the Open Research Action Plan implementation group and also an active member of the UK Research Software Engineering community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"PaulPaul Heaton<\/p>\n

Research Software Engineer<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Paul Heaton is a Research Software Engineer. His main roles are consulting with academics and postgraduates, providing guidance on research projects and grant applications, developing web applications and working with MySQL databases. He assists with data collection, cleaning, and analysis, and advises on suitable platforms and software for managing and sharing research findings. He also helps running the AI Community of Practice (AI COP), which aims to educate and inform members about developments in artificial intelligence and foster collaboration and networking across the community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Senior Research Computing Engineer<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Charles Oshikoya is a Senior Research Computing Engineer. He has a strong background in Linux\/Unix system administration and also works extensively with Windows Server environments. His role focuses on providing day-to-day support for research and academic computing servers and storage, ensuring reliability, performance, and effective support for the University\u2019s research community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
