{"id":667,"date":"2026-03-25T10:00:47","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T10:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/agrifood-futures\/?p=667"},"modified":"2026-05-06T16:24:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T15:24:21","slug":"agriculture-top-in-uk-in-qs-subject-rankings-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/agrifood-futures\/agriculture-top-in-uk-in-qs-subject-rankings-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Agriculture top in UK in QS subject rankings 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key subject areas at the University of Reading have been featured among the top universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, published today [25 March].<\/p>\n<p>The University <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">is ranked in subject tables across a broad range of disciplines, with six subject areas in the global top 100: Agriculture and Forestry (19), Earth and Marine Sciences (43), Archaeology, Development Studies, Marketing, and English Language and Literature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In total, 1,908 institutions around the world were ranked by subject area in this year\u2019s league table.<\/p>\n<p>In the UK, Reading retains its position as the top-ranked institution for Agriculture.
