WHO DO WE NEED:<\/strong>\u00a0We are looking for adult individuals with autism spectrum conditions to take part in our new study.<\/p>\n

PROCEDURE<\/strong>: The study consists of two experiments:<\/p>\n

Experiment 1:\u00a0Measuring eye movements<\/u>: You will first be asked to complete a couple of questionnaires. Then, the eye-tracking portion of the experiment will begin, which will be split into two parts. In part one you will be simply required to view pairs of visual stimuli on a screen (e.g. landscapes, people) whilst your eye movements are recorded. In part two, you will be required to compare stimuli and make simple judgements about them. The total length of this experiment will be\u00a0~ 75 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Purpose:<\/strong>\u00a0We are interested in how different cognitive and pitch processing styles impact how people perceive and produce music, language, and emotions.<\/p>\n

Procedure<\/strong>:\u00a0Participants will complete several tasks including emotion recognition tasks, speech and song perception and imitation tasks, cognitive tasks, and music listening tasks. Each task lasts about 1 hour.<\/p>\n
