The Beckett International Foundation<\/h3>\n

The Beckett International Foundation (BIF) was established at the University of Reading in 1988 to further the study and appreciation of the work of Samuel Beckett (1906-1989). It is\u00a0a charitable trust\u00a0<\/span>that has long-standing connections with international scholars, film, television and theatre practitioners, and the Beckett Estate. <\/span><\/p>\n

Working alongside the University's Special Collections team, t<\/span>he Beckett International Foundation is heavily involved in the management and curation of the publicly accessible Beckett Collection<\/a>.<\/span> It also serves the international Beckett research community <\/span>through its publications, conferences and other events.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The Foundation <\/span>supports the research and teaching of Beckett's work at all degree levels and in a variety of departments across the University of Reading.<\/p>\n
