Sami Rahman

Sami Rahman is an AI and Data leader with over a decade of industry experience, currently serving as Head of AI Strategy and Solutions at a global engineering firm called DataArt. He holds an MSc from University College London, an Advanced Diploma from the University of Oxford, and a BSc (Hons) from the University of West London. He is a board trustee at Mind, the UK’s largest mental health charity, and a board trustee at For Baby’s Sake, a charity that works with families to break the cycle of domestic abuse before and after birth. His professional work spans enterprise AI strategy, agentic systems, and large-scale data transformation across global organisations including HSBC, WPP, Penguin Random House, and Hypebeast. He is a part-time PhD student in Cybernetics at the University of Reading, supervised by Professor Slawomir Nasuto and Dr Fatemeh Mollaei.

His PhD is on VR-Driven Neuro-Symbiotic AI for Personalised Psychological Flow State Modulation in Parkinson’s Disease.
