My academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cybernetics, with doctoral research focused on cybernetics and cybersecurity. This research explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, adaptive control, and secure intelligent technologies. I also hold a Master’s in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, completed between 1994 and 1998, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, completed between 1990 and 1993. Srini Balasubramanian is an experienced Cybersecurity leader with over 25 years of expertise across healthcare, manufacturing, finance, telecom, and public sectors.

Based in Singapore for the past 16 years, he has strong experience in regional security, privacy, and resilience across APAC markets. Srini is also a PhD candidate in Cybernetics (University of Reading, UK), focusing on AI-driven threat intelligence. Inventor of a patented cognitive security framework, driving innovation by turning advanced research into practical, enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions.

Professional Experience

I built and led a strong cybersecurity team focused on penetration testing, Red Team activities, and setting up Security Operations Centers. My role was to help clients find security gaps, understand real-world cyber risks, and improve their ability to detect and respond to threats. I also helped grow and manage a global client base of 50 clients. This reflects my focus on building trust, delivering reliable cybersecurity services, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

I have a personal interest in epigenetic anti-aging research.
My focus is on understanding how lifestyle, environment, and biological markers influence aging.
This interest connects with my work in AI, biological science, and cybernetics. I aim to explore technology-driven approaches for healthier and longer living.
