Dr Georgina Holmes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Georgina Holmes is a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading. Her research explores the development of gender mainstreaming as a policy frame in global governance and peacekeeping, norm implementation dynamics, gender and Security Sector Reform, and the training and deployment of male and female uniformed peacekeepers. She has published in several peer reviewed academic journals including Millennium: Journal of International Studies<\/em>, International Peacekeeping, Journal of Intervention and State Building<\/em>, Peace Review<\/em>, Journal of Genocide Studies<\/em>, RUSI Journal<\/em> and the Roundtable: The Journal of Commonwealth and International Studies<\/em>. She is the author of Women and War in Rwanda: Genocide, Media and the Representation of Genocide\u00a0<\/em>(2013, I.B Tauris). Dr David Curran<\/strong><\/p>\n

David Curran is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations, Coventry University (UK). David\u2019s primary research investigates the interaction between the fields of conflict resolution and military peacekeeping, which is the topic of his monograph entitled ‘More than Fighting for Peace?: Conflict Resolution, UN Peacekeeping, and the Role of Training Military Personnel\u2019. David has also published on the evolution of peacekeeping doctrine, as well as undertaking research into the United Kingdom\u2019s relationship with UN peacekeeping. His recent publications include: \u201cMuddling on through? Cosmopolitan peacekeeping and the protection of civilians\u201d (International Peacekeeping, 2017); The United Kingdom and United Nations peace operations\u201d (with Paul D. Williams, International Peacekeeping, 2017); \u201cPerspectives on Peacekeeping and Atrocity Prevention\u2014Expanding Stakeholders and Regional Arrangements\u201d (co-editor, Springer, 2015); \u201cResonating, Rejecting, Reinterpreting: Mapping the Stabilisation Discourse in the United Nations Security Council, 2000\u20132014\u201d (with Paul Holtom, Stability Journal, 2015). Dr Philip Cunliffe<\/strong><\/p>\n

Philip Cunliffe is Senior Lecturer in International Conflict at the University of Kent. His research explores the pathologies and inadvertent consequences of humanitarian intervention and liberal conflict management since the end of the Cold War. His work has been published in Review of International Studies <\/em>and European Journal of International Relations <\/em>among other places. Sabrina White<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sabrina White is a\u00a0PhD Student in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds.\u00a0Her research focuses on sexual exploitation and sexual abuse in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations, and her ESRC-funded project is collaborative with the United Nations Association in the UK (UNA-UK).\u00a0Previously, she taught various modules in International Relations at Regent\u2019s University London, where she also ran the Model United Nations programme.
