{"id":57,"date":"2017-12-20T11:51:17","date_gmt":"2017-12-20T11:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/bisli2018\/?page_id=57"},"modified":"2021-09-07T11:30:35","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T10:30:35","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/bisli2018\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"Abstract submission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We welcome submissions for papers and posters on research surrounding bilingual children with SLI\/DLD, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The profile of bilingual children with SLI\/DLD in terms of their verbal and non-verbal abilities,<\/li>\n<li>The identification of SLI\/DLD in bilingual contexts,<\/li>\n<li>The assessment of SLI\/DLD in bilingual contexts, including studies using the LITMUS tasks,<\/li>\n<li>Comparison of the profile of bilingual children with SLI\/DLD to children with other developmental language disorders, e.g. Autism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Abstract submission will open on Monday 8th January and will close on Monday 5th February 2018. Abstracts will be submitted through the Easy Chair page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=bisli2018\"><strong>Submit your abstract via Easy Chair<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Abstract submission deadline:<\/strong> 5th February 2018<\/li>\n<li><strong>Notification of acceptance:<\/strong> 5th March 2018<\/li>\n<li><strong>Types of presentations:<\/strong> 1) paper, 2) poster.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Length of abstracts:<\/strong> paper or poster (450 words max \u2013 excluding references and title of paper).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Length of paper presentations:<\/strong> 20 min. and 10 min. for discussion and change of rooms<\/li>\n<li><strong>Poster format:<\/strong> Poster size: A1, max, landscape or portrait.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Presenter policy<\/h2>\n<p>The proposals for all presentations will be evaluated anonymously by at least two reviewers.
