Alex Arnall profile picture

Alex Arnall is a Human Geographer based in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development (SAPD) at the University of Reading. Having grown up in a coastal region of southwest Wales, Alex has long been interested in how people live with changing coastlines. His research looks at how communities adapt to environmental change, especially erosion, flooding and sea level rise, with work to date in the UK, the Maldives and Mozambique.

Kim Williams profile picture

Kim Williams was born and raised on the West Wales coast and has strong family connections to the maritime history of the area. She is an ecologist, independent researcher and educator. Kim is fascinated by people’s understandings of, and interactions with, ecosystems and the increasing unpredictability of climate patterns. She is also a crafter and maker, drawing inspiration, and some of her raw materials, from her wild, coastal surroundings.

Kim is currently a PhD student in the SAPD at the University of Reading.
