Please register via <\/span><a style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\" href=\"https:\/\/www.store.reading.ac.uk\/conferences-and-events\/faculty-of-life-sciences\/school-of-psychology-and-clinical-language-sciences\/international-symposium-on-bilingual-and-l2-processing-in-adults-and-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Reading online store<\/a><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/virtual.oxfordabstracts.com\/event\/76280\/program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conference Programme<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong>The conference programme is also now live via the above link to Oxford Abstracts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">Key dates<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">Early-bird registration closes on May 1st, 2026.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">Registration closes on June 1st, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">Conference Registration Costs<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">Early bird registration by May 1st, 2026:<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Academic staff\/faculty: \u00a3220<\/li>\n<li>Students: \u00a3140<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full price registration from May 1st, 2026 \u2013 June 1st, 2026:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic staff faculty: \u00a3240<\/li>\n<li>PhD students: \u00a3160<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Conference registration includes lunch on both days of the conference, along with tea\/coffee and refreshments during the coffee breaks. Conference registration also provides access to pre-conference events on June 17th, 2026. Registration for these additional events is required but is free (see below for further information).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference Dinner<\/strong>\u00a0(\u00a345)<br \/>\nThe conference dinner will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thameslido.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thames Lido<\/a>. Opened to the public in 1902 as a Ladies Swimming Bath, the pool was closed in 1974. Awarded Grade II listed status in 2004, the site was renovated and re-opened as Thames Lido in 2017, including a modern swimming pool, restaurant and events space. The Conference Dinner will take place in the events space, and will include buffet-style food and a drink on arrival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bayesian Mixed-Effects Modelling Workshop<\/strong><br \/>\nThe pre-conference workshop on Bayesian mixed-effects modelling will take place on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. The workshop will involve two sessions, one in the morning of June 17th, and one in the afternoon. The workshop will be delivered by Dr Jo\u00e3o Ver\u00edssimo (University of Lisbon).<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is free for conference attendees to attend, but space is limited. Conference attendees must register for this additional workshop. Registration information for the workshop will be provided once you register for the conference. If you have difficulty finding the link to register for the workshop after you have registered for the conference, please let us know. Due to limited spaces, please register for the Bayesian Mixed-Effects Modelling Workshop by May 1st, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CeLM Research Day<\/strong><br \/>\nConference attendees are welcome to attend the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/celm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism\u2019<\/a>\u2018s (CeLM) annual Research Afternoon on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. This event is free, but conference attendees are requested to sign up if they wish to attend.
