An update on what we\u2019ve been up to since launching last November and our plans for this coming year:<\/span><\/p>\n

Some updates:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

-: Since launching in 2019, we have now become a <\/span>University Interdisciplinary Research Centre<\/b> – this means we have some start-up funding this coming year and have just announced some internal Early Careers and other staff Fellowships (to support grant writing and bids)<\/span><\/p>\n

-: We have a new management board (with reps from Henley Business School, ECRs, and all of our departments), in addition to our advisory board. For the management board members see: <\/span>https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/centre-for-book-cultures-and-publishing\/people\/<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

-: <\/span>The Edinburgh Companion to Women in Publishing, 1900-2000<\/span><\/i> has been signed off by Edinburgh University Press – this includes many contributors from our Women in Publishing event, summer 2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
