Screening of ‘Kojève, knowingly’ (François Lagarde and Christine Baudillon)

Queen Mary University of London and Virginia Tech are co-hosting, Kojève: Here and Now, a workshop exploring the ideas and legacy of renowned philosopher Alexandre Kojève.

Coinciding with the workshop will be the release of a new documentary portrait film, Kojève, Knowingly (François Lagarde and Christine Baudillon). CFAC is proud to have made a significant contribution to the costs for subtitling the film, under the coordination of Reading’s Dr John McKeane (Lecturer in Modern French Literature), who has written a reflective account of the process.
