A quadrapole time of flight instrument that achieves high sensitivity and resolution for the analysis of small molecules and peptide/proteins. The micrOTOF Q II features the Bruker ion funnel source which transmits ions with great efficiency into the isolation quad. The instrument operates with a mass accuracy in the region of 1-2ppm and has a typical resolution of around 17,000 FWHM. The instrument is capable of isolation of ions and fragmentation to aid with structural elucidation. In the CAF lab the instrument is connected to an Agilent HPLC system to provide separation of complex mixtures.
