It incorporates an 11.74T Ultrashield magnet and is equipped with number of NMR probes suitable to run experiments for liquid, gel\/tissue and solid samples.\u00a0 This instrument is optimised to run advance metabolomics experiments. The AV500 has a 60-position BACS sample changer (soon to be upgraded to 450 positions SampleJET with full temperature control). Probes available on the AV500 are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5mm indirect observation x,y,z-gradient inverse (<sup>1<\/sup>H, <sup>13<\/sup>C\/<sup>31<\/sup>P-<sup>15<\/sup>N)- BBI probe<\/li>\n<li>5mm z-gradient direct observation (<sup>1<\/sup>H\/<sup>19<\/sup>F-<sup>13<\/sup>C\/<sup>31<\/sup>P-<sup>15<\/sup>N- BBFO probe<\/li>\n<li>4mm cross-polarisation magic angle spinning <sup>13<\/sup>C<sup>15<\/sup>N\/\u00a0<sup>29<\/sup>Si\/<sup>31<\/sup>P CPMAS probe<\/li>\n<li>4mm high-resolution semi-solid <sup>1<\/sup>H\/<sup>13<\/sup>C &#8211; HRMAS probe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;What experiments are available?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1668507318793-73c9caa0-c27d&#8221;][vc_column_text]The primary function of the AV500 is to perform experiments which are not available on the Open Access NMR Instruments. In addition, however, all the ICONNMR Experiments which are routinely available for the Open Access NMR instruments (e.g.\u00a0<sup>1<\/sup>H,\u00a0<sup>13<\/sup>C, DEPT, edited-HSQC, HMBC, COSY and NOESY) are also available with the AV500.
