I obtained my PhD in Psychology at Western Sydney University, Australia, where I researched how we learn the building blocks of speech and music. My general research interests lie in language and music comparison, statistical learning, and individual differences. I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Assistant on an ERC funded grant, and from 2021, I will be funded by the ERC Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship to investigate emotion recognition from a statistical learning perspective using both behavioural and neuroimaging approaches.
