A new collaboration between CINN and the Institute for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research (ICMR) is exploring the relationship between cardiovascular and neurocognitive function.

We take a mechanistic approach to examine how systemic age-related changes in haemostatic and cardiovascular physiology affect brain structure and function, and how this relates to cognition and behaviour as we age.

We use multimodal brain imaging, peripheral vascular function measurement, in vitro haemostatic assays, behavioural and cognitive testing, and machine learning and other mathematical modelling.
