{"id":1907,"date":"2017-03-15T16:53:11","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T16:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/cinn\/?p=1907"},"modified":"2021-05-24T17:03:57","modified_gmt":"2021-05-24T16:03:57","slug":"new-scanner-to-expand-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/cinn\/new-scanner-to-expand-research\/","title":{"rendered":"New scanner to expand research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Anastasia Christakou, Professor Doug Saddy, and Professor Tom Johnstone talk about the importance of staying on the cutting edge of technology in neuroscience.<\/p>\n<p>With the installation of a new scanner, CINN and the University of Reading expands their technological capabilities\u00a0and also can be used for collaboration nationally and internationally as well as clinical and practical applications in neuroscience.\u00a0It will also mean that\u00a0researchers will have training in the latest technology, and be used for the training of undergraduates and the next generation of researchers.<\/p>\n<p>The new scanner will look into the brain with much higher clarity and faster data accumulation.
