The annual Early Career Researcher (ECR) Conference at the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences will take place on the 31st of March 2023. The conference, whilst open to all, is particularly aimed at the research of those starting in their academic careers, including Master's students, pre-docs, PhD students and post-docs.<\/p>\n

The ECR Conference primarily consists of presentations, those describing existing research projects being undertaken at the School, as well as potential projects intended for the future. Also included is a funding-based program based upon the television series 'Dragon's Den' in which groups pitch their ideas to four SPCLS Professors, who ultimately decide on whether the project is funded.<\/p>\n

These funds are generously provided from the PCLS Research Community and CINNergies, to which a maximum of \u00a35,000<\/u><\/strong> is available to support independent research projects of many kinds. The money can be used for RA\/staffing time, consumables, travel and training. More details - including on how to apply - can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
