The two-day symposium will be held in a hybrid format at the beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/ready-to-study\/student-life\/campus-and-facilities\/whiteknights-campus\">Whiteknights Campus<\/a> at the University of Reading from 15-16 June and will include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">Keynote lectures by world-leading academics examining central themes and latest developments in theory, methods, and application<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">Short talks by early career researchers presenting ongoing work within the field<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">Poster presentations facilitating the informal exchange of ideas, with opportunities for feedback and collaboration<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">Training w<\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc \">orkshops\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"C9DxTc \">to address empirical and theoretical aspects of the challenge of fluctuation and change<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This years invited speakers include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eiko-fried.com\/\">Eiko Fried<\/a> (Leiden University)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogierkievit.com\/\">Rogier Kievit<\/a> (Donders Institute, Radboud University Nijmegen)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asc.upenn.edu\/people\/faculty\/david-lydon-staley-phd\">David Lydon-Staley<\/a> (University of Pennsylvania)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\/psychiatry\/professor-argyris-stringaris\">Argyris Stringaris<\/a> (University College London)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unige.ch\/medecine\/neuf\/en\/research\/grecherche\/patrik-vuilleumier\/g\/patrik-vuilleumier\/\">Patrik Vuilleumier<\/a> (University of Geneva)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reading Emotions will be chaired this year by <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/cinn\/anastasia-christakou\/\">Professor Anastasia Christakou<\/a>, Director of CINN at the University of Reading.<\/p>\n<p>Booking in advance is require for attendees, which you can do up until the date of the event using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.store.reading.ac.uk\/conferences-and-events\/faculty-of-life-sciences\/school-of-psychology-and-clinical-language-sciences\/reading-emotions-2023\">following link<\/a>.
