The 61st Annual Meeting of the Academy of Aphasia<\/a> will be hosted by the University of Reading, Whitenights campus, UK. The on-campus conference venues will be the Palmer Building<\/a> on the 21st and 22nd of October (Saturday and Sunday) and the Meadow Suite in the historic Park House<\/a> on the 23rd of October (Monday). Saturday\u2019s opening night reception will take place at the Museum of English Rural Life<\/a>, which explores the history of the English countryside and its people.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s program includes keynote presentations by Prof. Sophie Scott<\/a>\u00a0of University College London (UCL) and Dr. Sudha Seshadri<\/a> of the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio. The program also features eight, thematically organized platform sessions, and an interactive lunchtime panel discussion entitled Equity in Science<\/em>. Across the eight platform sessions, two symposia and one mini-workshop are incorporated. The program also affords dedicated time slots for each of three in-person poster presentation sessions and for each of two virtual poster presentation sessions.<\/p>\n
