While we record your brain activity in the MRI scanner, you will be asked to perform a working memory task. Duration -1.5h (30 min \u2013 training, 60 min- scanning). You will be reimbursed for your time (plus you will get a picture of your brain). This study has received ethical approval by the University of Reading Research Ethics Committee, project UREC 21\/10, end date 01\/10\/2024.<\/p>\n<h2>Who is running the study?<\/h2>\n<p>This study takes place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/cinn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN)<\/a>. The study Principal Investigator is <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/cinn\/eva-feredoes\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Dr Eva Feredoes<\/a>. Experimental work is reviewed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/research\/research-environment\/integrity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Reading Research Ethics Committee<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Who can take part in this study?<\/h2>\n<p>We invite healthy volunteers aged 18 and 45 years. You may not be able to participate in the study if you have metal in their upper body, body implants (cochlear implant, an implanted neurostimulator), medication infusion devices, cardiac pacemakers or intracardiac lines.<\/p>\n<h2>How do I find out more?<\/h2>\n<p>To find out more, including ways in which you can get involved, please contact Olga Leticevscaia (<a href=\"mailto:olga.leticevscaia@pgr.reading.ac.uk\">olga.leticevscaia@pgr.reading.ac.uk<\/a>).
