[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”7226″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]W<\/span>e<\/span> were pleased to<\/span> welcome<\/span> last week our new early career researchers, including new <\/span>PhD and MSc Placement <\/span>students <\/span>to CINN<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The week’s activities<\/span> provided an in-depth orientation to the centre\u2019s <\/span>research<\/span> facilities<\/span>,<\/span> with<\/span> lab tours and team introductions build<\/span>ing<\/span> a strong foundation<\/span> for their training in the centre’s research environment<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Highlights included the inaugural session of our new Ultrasound Club in the physiology lab<\/a>, and briefings on MRI<\/a> procedures, health and safety, and AP training preparation. Students were also introduced to the <\/span>EEG<\/a>, <\/span>neurostimulation<\/a> and pain<\/a> labs, gaining insight into <\/span>these <\/span>key research areas. Talks by current PhD students and CINN-affiliated Principal Investigators<\/a> provided further perspectives on the exciting research underway at the centre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

W<\/span>e\u2019<\/span>re<\/span> very much looking forward to supporting everyone with their training goals and research development, and to working closely with the students on their placements and research projects this year.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
