Daniel completed his PhD in 2010 at the University of Leeds examining the effects of carbohydrate quality on cognitive performance in type 2 diabetes, before undertaking postdoctoral and lectureship positions at the University of Reading. He has a diverse international research portfolio including collaborations and funding from Public Health England, UKRI, EIT Europe, ILSI Europe, and numerous UK and international industry sponsors and business partners. This portfolio indicates strong working relationships with industry and businesses who have an interest in health and wellbeing.
