differences between neurotypical individuals and those on the autism spectrum.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Production of Facial Expressions:<\/em> Using electromyography (EMG) to investigate facial muscle responses when viewing emotional stimuli.<\/li>\n<li><em>Facial Mimicry:<\/em> Using EMG to examine the mechanisms and functions of facial mimicry, i.e., the automatic and subtle matching of observed facial expressions.<\/li>\n<li><em>Detection and Perception of Facial Expressions:<\/em> Investigating people\u2019s judgements of others\u2019 (subtle) facial expressions of emotion (facial emotion recognition) using dynamic stimuli, as well as examining underlying mechanisms and modulating factors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>CINN research I am involved
