We conducted two workshops in June for the “Transforming Dementia Care through Climate Resilient Built Environment” project led by Dr. Amna Shibeika. It was an excellent experience to identify dementia specific vulnerabilities to heathwaves and co-develop adaptation tool designs with workshop participants with a wide range of expertise ; from family carers and social care experts to health and built environment professionals.
