Thomas Grisaffi is an anthropologist and Associate Professor based in Geography at the University of Reading. He is the author of Coca Yes, Cocaine No: How Bolivia’s Coca Growers Reshaped Democracy (Duke Univ Press 2019) and co-editor of ‘Cocaine: From coca fields to the streets’ (Duke Univ Press 2021).<\/p>\n
Kathryn Ledebur,\u00a0Director, Andean Information Network (AIN). AIN is a\u00a0Bolivian non-profit non-governmental organization founded in 1992 to raise awareness on the drug war and human rights,\u00a0particularly in the coca-growing areas of Bolivia.<\/p>\n
Linda Farthing (AIN)\u00a0is a journalist and researcher who has written extensively on coca. She is co-author of three books on Bolivia and has written for the Guardian, the Economist, Latino USA, Al Jazeera, and the Nation.<\/p>\n
Maritza Paredes is an Associate Professor in Social Science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She has written three books on rural development in the Andes.<\/p>\n
Alvaro Pastor (PUCP) is a sociologist and graduate teacher in Social Science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He has previously worked in rural development.<\/p>\n
Jamie Fuentes (AIN) is a systems engineer and previous consultant for the Bolivian government on drug crop cultivation and monitoring through system implementation.<\/p>\n
Lucien Chauvin (AIN) is an investigative journalist who has written extensively on coca and drugs in Peru and has written for the Washington Post, Time magazine, and The Economist, amongst others.<\/p>\n
Ara Goudsmit Lambert\u00edn is a political scientist at the Universidad de Los Andes, Bogot\u00e1-Colombia. She has collaborated with various media won an award from the Fondo de Investigaciones y Nuevas Narrativas sobre Drogas (FINND) from the Fundaci\u00f3n Gabo.<\/p>\n
