On October 18, Bolivians over- whelmingly voted for the Movement to Socialism (MAS), setting the country on a path back to democracy, following nearly a year of rightwing authoritarian rule. Journalist and independent scholar Linda Farthing will discuss why MAS won, and what it means for the country, the region, and the world.<\/p>\n
