The Law & Corpus Linguistics RCCR project is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Postdoctoral Research Assistant, Dr. Sara Vilar-Lluch. Sara’s background is in linguistics, particularly using corpus methods to improve our understanding of the diagnostic terms used to individuate cognitive disorders (e.g. in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, DSM). She thus brings a wealth of expertise to the RCCR project, which aims to explore how corpus methods can improve the understanding of legally contested terms.<\/p>\n
