Demonstration at EC CERIS Joint Demonstration Event on European Border Surveillance Innovation

CVG was invited by the European Commission to present their UAV platform at the CERIS Joint Demonstration Event on European Border Surveillance Innovation in Turku, Finland on 2nd and 3rd September 2025.  During the event, CVG demonstrated the drone ground station’s capabilities and use cases to practitioners from EU Member States, Schengen Associated Countries and EU Agencies including the European Border and Coast Guard (EBCG) and Frontex.

Key highlights included:

✅ Live demo of the EURMARS platform in action

✅ Direct interaction with practitioners and national authorities

✅ Presentation of innovative drone-based solutions developed under the Horizon Europe framework.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to present our results, strengthen collaboration and showcase how CVG’s research supports a safer and more secure European border environment.
