Relevant Expertise<\/strong><\/h4>\n

CEA is a public body established in October 1945. A leader in research, development and innovation, the CEA is active in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defence and security, information technologies and health technologies. In each of these fields, the CEA maintains cross-disciplinary teams of engineers and researchers, building on the synergies between fundamental and technological research.<\/p>\n

The CEA LIST (Laboratoire d’Int\u00e9gration des Syst\u00e8mes et des Technologies), one of the technological research divisions of CEA, is a research institute specialising in smart digital systems; as one of the R&D laboratories within the CEA LIST, the Communicating Systems Laboratory (LSC) will contribute to the Critical Chain project. This lab develops innovative networking technologies (protocols and software) to enable trusted networks featuring high levels of performance, security, resiliency, agility and scalability for Internet of Things (IoT), industrial networks, 5G and next-generation public safety mobile networks.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

CEA leads the innovation in lightweight fine-grained access control that relies upon cryptographic primitives, and a lightweight, distributed, and collaborative network intrusion detection system featuring a blacklisting capability using Machine Learning-induced anomaly detection, in order to prevent attack propagation. CEA also contributes to other aspects of the project such as requirements engineering, system integration and evaluation.<\/p>\n
