The Diasporic Literary Archives Network grieves together at the death of one of its founding members, Veno Kauaria. Our condolences also go to her family, friends and comrades in Namibia.
Veno was a humorous and inspirational participant at the five Network workshops described elsewhere on this site, and she took the lead – as Director of the National Library and National Archives – in developing the collecting of the archives of Namibian artists, photographers and literary authors. She was a great friend to many of the Network members.
