Diasporic Collections

This directory of Diasporic Collections gives a broad selection of worldwide examples (although not a full location register) illustrating the extent of the global migration of literary collections.  The directory is a work in progress and entries will be added over the course of the project.  Suggestions for additional entries, from researchers, scholars and archivists, will be gratefully received.  Please contact: diasporic.archives@reading.ac.uk .

Using the Directory

The listing is arranged alphabetically by Authors’  surname. Please use the arrows at the top of each column to arrange the list according to your preference (date, holding institution etc.) and use arrows at the base of the table to advance through it.  You can locate a specific collection using the search box.  Please note that you must include any special characters (accents, etc) in the search text.  For example, to find ‘Véronique’ you must search for ‘véronique’ and not ‘veronique’.
