This directory of Diasporic Collections gives a broad selection of worldwide examples (although not a full location register) illustrating the extent of the global migration of literary collections.\u00a0 The directory is a work in progress and entries will be added over the course of the project.\u00a0 Suggestions for additional entries, from researchers, scholars and archivists, will be gratefully received.\u00a0 Please contact: diasporic.archives@reading.ac.uk<\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Using the Directory<\/h2>\n

The listing is arranged alphabetically by Authors’\u00a0 surname. Please use the arrows at the top of each column to arrange the list according to your preference (date, holding institution etc.) and use arrows at the base of the table to advance through it.\u00a0\u00a0You can locate a specific collection using the search box.\u00a0 Please note that you must include any\u00a0special characters (accents, etc) in the\u00a0search\u00a0text.\u00a0 For example,\u00a0to\u00a0find\u00a0‘V\u00e9ronique’ you must search for ‘v\u00e9ronique’ and not ‘veronique’.
