\"IMEC\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0IMEC\u00a0was established in 1988 by a group of publishers and academic researchers. \u00a0In collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture and the Regional Council of Basse-Normandie, its mission is to preserve modern literary archives, create a modern literary heritage, and mediate between scholars, authors, and publishing houses. \u00a0The collection encompasses a wide variety of literary and artistic production. Notable holdings include the papers of the foremost publishers in France, Hachette, Le Seuil, Albin Michel\u00a0\u00a0and Flammarion, and renowned French and Francophone authors such as Marguerite Duras, Jacques Derrida, and Kateb Yacine, as well as material relating to the playwrights literary agents, graphic designers, printers, etc.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Derval<\/h2>\n

Andr\u00e9 Derval est Directeur des Collections \u00e0 l\u2019Institut M\u00e9moires de l’\u00e9dition contemporaine (IMEC), \u00e0 Paris\/Caen, o\u00f9 il fut auparavant responsable des fonds d’\u00e9dition et des r\u00e9seaux documentaires depuis sa fondation en 1989. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 d’un Doctorat de Lettres modernes, sp\u00e9cialiste de Louis-Ferdinand C\u00e9line et de Samuel Becket, Andr\u00e9 Derval est l\u2019auteur de plusieurs monographies ainsi que de traductions et d’\u00e9ditions critiques; il dirige \u00e9galement la revue \u00c9tudes c\u00e9liniennes<\/em> au sein de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9tudes c\u00e9liniennes. Il a enfin assur\u00e9 le commissariat de pluseurs expositions en France et aux \u00c9tats-Unis sur des maisons d\u2019\u00e9dition et des \u00e9crivains contemporains.
