In continuation from the discussions at the third and fifth DLAN workshops, the Diasporic Literary Archives Network was represented by Dr David Sutton at an “International Expert Working Meeting” in Bern, Switzerland, on 6-7 October 2016, with the title Safe havens for archives at risk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The DLAN expects to continue to be involved in work on best practice for safe havens (for digital copies of archives at risk, and, less frequently, for removal of endangered archives to another country) in partnership with swisspeace<\/a> and UNESCO – working with colleagues in receiving institutions, notably in Finland and Switzerland, and in originating institutions, notably in Syria, Zimbabwe and Guatemala.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
