The Diasporic Literary Archives Network grieves together at the death of one of its founding members, Veno Kauaria. Our condolences also go to her family, friends and comrades in Namibia.<\/p>\n

Veno was a humorous and inspirational participant at the five Network workshops described elsewhere on this site, and she took the lead – as Director of the National Library and National Archives – in developing the collecting of the archives of Namibian artists, photographers and literary authors<\/a>. She was a great friend to many of the Network members.<\/p>\n
