DSGE Modelling Summer School at Sofia University as Part of SCHOLARNET

On the eve of its 120^th anniversary, the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, in cooperation with our Department and University, and with the financial support provided under the SCHOLARNET research capacity-building project, organised a summer school for master and PhD students and junior researchers. The summer school took place on 8^th and 9^th September 2021 and was taught by Dr Alexander Mihailov who introduced dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) modelling to the participants. Further details on this collaborative event between the universities of Reading and Sofia have been publicised on the website of the FEBA in English as well as in Bulgarian. Dr Mihailov, who started his academic career part-time at the FEBA in the mid-1990s, also gave a comprehensive interview for the young scholars that can be read in the new FEBA online interview sequence under the rubric “Our Scholars” (in Bulgarian).
