As part of the international cooperation agreement between our Department and University and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski signed last summer, Dr Alexander Mihailov and his PhD student Minko Markovski were invited to present online at the annual international conference celebrating the 120th anniversary of the FEBA. The event was hybrid and held in Sofia on 26 and 27 November 2021, with the theme this year being “Environmental, social and governance challenges for recovery and resilience”. Dr Mihailov presented his joint discussion paper with another of his PhD students, Josep Ferret Mas, on green quantitative easing as intergenerational climate justice. Mr Markovski presented a paper on the impact of ownership on corporate performance.
