Dr. Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/strong><\/a> (Lecturer in Primary Mathematics Education at the University of Reading’s Institute of Education) is invited to take part in the Pearson roundtable discussion on key issues facing\u00a0mathematics in Britain today.<\/p>\n

In his role as Founder of MathsThroughStories.org<\/strong><\/a>, Dr.\u00a0Trakulphadetkrai will highlight and advocate for an innovative mathematics learning approach, namely learning mathematics by creating mathematical story picture books, to his audience.<\/p>\n

Dr. Trakulphadetkrai will be joined by\u00a0Kyle Evans (an\u00a0award-winning Mathematics teacher and comedian), and the discussion will be chaired by\u00a0Ann Mroz (TES Editor).<\/p>\n

This free event will be held in Pearson’s headquarter in central London.<\/p>\n

MathsThroughStories.org<\/strong> is a non-profit research-based initiative which sets out to highlight the benefits of teaching and learning mathematics through storytelling and to offer practical ideas on how to embrace this approach. Since its launch in March 2017, MathsThroughStories.org has been viewed over 190,000 times by more than 33,000 teachers and parents from over 160 countries.<\/p>\n
