Suzy Tutchell<\/strong><\/a> (Lecturer in Art and Design in Education, University of Reading’s Institute of Education) has recently completed her latest book project, titled ‘Mastering Primary Art and Design<\/em>‘. Drawing on research, educational policy and practical examples,\u00a0the book\u00a0introduces the primary art and design curriculum and helps trainees and teachers learn how to plan and teach inspiring lessons that “make learning art and design irresistible”.<\/p>\n

The book, co-authored with Peter Gregory and Claire March, will be published and released by\u00a0Bloomsbury Publishing on 12 December 2019. To pre-order this book, click\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is a fantastic example of research-informed scholarship by an experienced teacher educator here at the IoE. The book will, no doubt, have positive impact on many of our own teacher trainees as well as experienced teachers. Many congratulations, Suzy!<\/p>\n
