Prof. Carol Fuller<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Professor of Sociology of Education, University of Reading)\u00a0was recently interviewed for a Times Educational Supplement (TES) article, titled\u00a0‘Why Christmas is important in schools’.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The article, released just before Christmas, draws from interviews with a number of academics whose research help to explain how \u201cChristmas brings children and teachers closer together, breaks down barriers in parental engagement, builds community links and even improves pupils\u2019 learning\u201d.<\/p>\n

Drawing from the research findings of her Marvellous Mums project<\/strong><\/a>, Prof. Fuller argues that that community and relationships are key.<\/p>\n
