If you are interested in learning more about statistics and are looking for resources to support your statistics learning, you will be pleased to hear that The Hub (London Road campus) now has 30 copies of three different statistics textbooks and … comic books<\/em>! These include the leading textbook on the subject, titled ‘Discovering Statistics Using SPSS’<\/em> (4th Edition) by Andy Field as well as less common resources like The Manga Guide to Statistics and The Cartoon Introduction to Statistics.<\/p>\n

These resources are given to The Hub by Dr. Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s and\u00a0Dr. Fiona Curtis<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s project which sets out to compare the effectiveness of students learning about statistics using textbooks on the one hand and comic books on the other.<\/p>\n
