In her article, titled \u2018A national intervention in\u00a0teaching<\/span>\u00a0phonics<\/span>: A\u00a0case<\/span>\u00a0study<\/span>\u00a0from<\/span>\u00a0England<\/span><\/i>\u2019<\/strong><\/a> published in The\u00a0Educational and Developmental Psychologist journal, <\/em>Prof.\u00a0<\/em>Stainthorp highlights that gives a historical overview of the various attempts to improve literacy teaching in England starting with the National Literacy Strategy’s ‘The Searchlights Model’ at the turn of the 21st century. .<\/p>\n
