The University of Reading\u2019s Institute of Education (IoE) is very proud that the excellence of our research publications has been recognised in the latest round of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment. Specifically, 46% of our submitted research publications have been judged to be \u201cworld-leading\u201d (4*), an 84% increase since the last round of REF assessment in 2014.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Moreover, 100% of our environment submission was rated 4* and 3*, indicating a research environment that is conducive to producing internationally excellent research and very considerable impact.<\/p>\n

REF is a research quality evaluation of UK higher education institutions. In this round of REF assessment, university research conducted over the 2014-2021 period was assessed.<\/p>\n
