The 2022\/2023 academic year sees new members joining the leadership teams of the Institute of Education\u2019s (IoE)\u00a0Postgraduate Research Studies (PhD) programme<\/a><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Doctorate in Education (EdD) programme<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Professor Naomi Flynn<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(Professor of Multilingual Education) succeeded Professor Holly Joseph and Dr. Daisy Powell as the new director of the PhD programme.<\/p>\n

Supporting Professor Flynn are two Deputy Directors:\u00a0Dr. Billy Wong<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(Associate Professor in Widening Participation) who has been in his role as a Deputy Director since 2019, and a new Deputy Director, Dr. Anna Tsakalaki<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Lecturer in Education), who succeeded Dr. Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai.<\/p>\n

Dr. Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(Associate Professor of Mathematics Education) is now the new Deputy Director of the EdD programme. In this role, Dr. Trakulphadetkrai supports the programme\u2019s director,\u00a0Dr. Karen Jones<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>(Associate Professor of Educational Leadership & Management), in the day-to-day running of the programme.<\/p>\n

Both programmes also have a new Postgraduate Research Administrator,\u00a0Gaby Burford\u00a0(g.burford@reading.ac.uk<\/a>) who succeeded Sophie Hughes.<\/p>\n
