On behalf of the IoE\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/education\/doctoral-programmes\/ioe-phd-programmes.aspx\"><strong>PhD programme<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/education\/doctoral-programmes\/ioe-edd-programmes.aspx\"><strong>EdD programme<\/strong><\/a>, we would like to congratulate our graduates below who, no doubt, will go on to create impact in the field of education here in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PhD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dr. <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Jiayi<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Zhao<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Mid-career academic women in higher education in China: Barriers and strategies (<strong>Supervisor:<\/strong> Dr. Karen Jones)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dr. Nora <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Abdullah Aljbreen<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Female academic leaders and their role in quality departments at Saudi universities (<strong>Supervisors:<\/strong> Professor Carol Fullers and Dr. Maria Kambouri)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dr. <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Ilan Gabriel Dwek<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Study on how do educational experiences and deaf identity relate to employment success? (<strong>Supervisors:<\/strong> Dr. Geoff Taggart and Professor Helen Bilton)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dr.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> Johann Scheffer <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; What are the experiences and perceptions of leadership education and development for clinical leaders in the Emergency Department (ED) of an English NHS Acute Trust?
