Moving beyond traditional worksheets and textbooks, the study invites students to explain, visualise, and contextualise mathematics through creative storytelling &#8211; placing meaning-making at the heart of learning.<\/p>\n<p>In this study, this pedagogical approach is applied specifically to support students\u2019 learning of Pythagoras\u2019 theorem and trigonometry. These topics were deliberately selected because they are foundational within the Key Stage 3\u20134 curriculum, frequently reported by students as conceptually challenging.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"14ax3tk\" data-start=\"76\" data-end=\"107\">Who is running the project?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"109\" data-end=\"455\">The project is led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/education\/staff\/natthapoj-vincent-trakulphadetkrai\">Dr Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/a> at the University of Reading. It is supported by Dr Ros McLellan at the University of Cambridge and Dr Fl\u00e1via H.
