{"id":5043,"date":"2026-05-27T23:22:40","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T22:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/education\/?p=5043"},"modified":"2026-05-27T23:28:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T22:28:37","slug":"dr-hebah-sheerah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/education\/2026\/05\/27\/dr-hebah-sheerah\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Hebah Sheerah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Year of Graduation:<\/strong> 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supervisors:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/education\/staff\/natthapoj-vincent-trakulphadetkrai\">Dr Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/a> <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">&amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/education\/staff\/yota-dimitriadi\">Prof Yota Dimitriadi<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Research focus:<\/strong> My PhD explored EFL undergraduate students\u2019 perceptions concerning the strengths and weaknesses of blended learning as a technology-enhanced pedagogic tool on the development of their academic English in each language skill (reading, listening, speaking, writing) as well as their recommendations for improving the skills using blended learning in the preparatory year in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorable experiences at the IoE: <\/strong>As a doctoral student, I have been given several opportunities to present my work at seminars and national conferences in the UK. Moreover, a wide range of research opportunities was provided. The environment was encouraging and enabled flexible ways of working.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career:<\/strong> I am currently an Assistant Professor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at King Khalid University (Abha, Saudi Arabia). I teach undergraduate programmes.
